About Christine M. Parizo, RP

Christine received her B.S. in Journalism and Public Information in 1999 and immediately began working as a copy editor and technology reporter. After two years, she changed course to pursue a career in the legal field. She enrolled in the Paralegal Studies certificate program at Middlesex Community College in Bedford, Mass., while working full-time as a legal secretary for a Boston-based construction litigation firm. During her time at Middlesex, Christine was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa, the national honor society, and received the 2003 West Group/National Federation of Paralegal Associations First Place Scholarship.
Armed with her Certificate in Paralegal Studies, which she received in 2004, Christine moved to Western Massachusetts and began working as an estate administration and elder law paralegal for a solo practitioner in Springfield, Mass. She took the Paralegal Advanced Competency Exam in August 2006, passing on her first try. In 2008, Christine was named one of Paralegal Gateway's Paralegal Superstars. Most recently, Christine was appointed Technology Coordinator for the National Federation of Paralegal Associations.
Christine is committed to advancing the paralegal profession in the eyes of attorneys, the general public, and paralegals themselves. Outside work, Christine is a mother, a wife, and an active member of her church community. Her interests include technology, Pilates, Italian language and culture, and voracious reading.
