Paralegal Position Cut at MTA

The Massachusetts Turnpike Authority is eliminating six jobs, including a paralegal position, in an effort to cut costs.

Under their union contract, officials said, the employees may have bumping rights, entitling them to a different job at the cash-strapped agency.

But eventually, said Turnpike Authority executive director Alan LeBovidge, six positions will be cut from the payroll.
